Disable greylisted reject

I regularly have the issue that mailcow is rejecting legitimate email with the error “milter-reject: END-OF-MESSAGE from […]]: 4.7.1 Greylisted, please try again later; ”

They get delivered sometime later, but it’s really annoying that I need to wait half an hour to get a confirmation code that is valid for 10 minutes 😠

Is there any way to disable this behavior?

Greylisting is one of the most valuable things you can do to avoid SPAM. You could disable it completely:

Or you could, if you want to disable it temporarily, login to the mailcow UI as the relevant user and set the SPAM rating slider to a very high value, as greylisting applies only to emails with a score equal to or higher than the lower value. Do this, receive your one time password, and reset it to the original values afterwards.
