Hi,
Have finished the install/config of Mailcow.

Looking for how to upload existing mail and contacts/address book into the Mailcow server. There are a couple of internet searches that come up from that topic search, but it doesn’t seem that moving data into the Mailcow server is addressed. Don’t see anything in the documentation. There are a few mentions of scripting a solution.

My thinking is (was) that this wouldn’t be that unusual of an ask or capability.

Happy to go through dos or discussions that go over the how-to.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get this done?

Many thanks in advance.
Dan

Thanks DF,

Should have given more detail. Trying to get contacts and mail in my Outlook client loaded into Mailcow. Access to their server isn’t really practical.

Thanks,

Dan

keelstrake Access to their server isn’t really practical.

If “their” mail server isn’t accessible from the Internet you could add your mailcow account via IMAP and just copy the mails from your existing mailbox to your mailcow mailbox.

Export your calendar as described here:

support.microsoft.com Icon Export an Outlook calendar to Google Calendar - Microsoft Support

    .

You can import the file in your Sogo calendar via the the dots in the left column

Edit: same for contacts, open your contacts tab in Outlook, click File -> Save and save them as vcf file. Import them in Sogo

Both your suggestions are appreciated. There is mine, sorry for a poor turn of phrase.

I will work on both of your solutions.

    Many thanks,

    Dan
