Recalculate quotas and filesystem usage

Hi.
I just migrated from a stndard postfix/dovecot setup to mailcow. since I had a lot of accounts, I created the mailacocunts in mailcow, send an initial email to create the filestructure, and then copied the mails from the old server to the mailcow postboxes.
If I log in to the SOGo interface, or if I connect via email client, I see all my emails. Everything works fine. Just in the mailcow admin interface, The quota still shows 0%.

I already tried the commend “docker-compose exec dovecot-mailcow doveadm quota recalc -A” (run with sudo, run as root, etc) but there’s no luck.
Does this need some time? What am I doing wrong here?

Try to find if still a process with dovadm is running (e.g. ps -ef | grep dovadm)
If not try docker attach to a console first, and then issue the dovadm command for just one user to test.
Check the logs as well.

Which container do I need to attach to?

Isnt that obviuous? dovecot of course, because dovadm is a dovecot tool

Can’t connect to that container. If I try, I get a “blank screen” with no console whatoever.

Nevermind, got it. I tried the doveadm quota recalc -A and also for a specufic user (me) but sadly: no luck. Still shows 0% and 11 mails. (the mails I got while the server is running)

Interestingly, If I use doveadm quota get -u <me> it shows the correct value. This isn’t updated to the mailcow ui.

Ok, I ran the update script. I updated to the latest vesion and now it shows all values correctly. Seems like all it needed was a good ol’ reboot of all services…
