As the subject says. Seems when I create a recurring/all day event (an annual holiday for example), on the SOGo calendar, it shows as a two day event. This happens for many, but not all Full Day events. My timezone is set to EST (UTC+5) in the admin GUI. This issue only cropped up in the past month or so. I'm can't remember exactly when it started doing this. I've tried to delete the even and re-create, only to have the same issue happen. Seems when I create a recurring/all day event (an annual holiday for example), on the SOGo calendar, it shows as a two day event. This happens for many, but not all Full Day events.

I have the same for some recurring events, and I think its because they have been created or modified in Outlook. Seems then it is sometimes confused with Daylight Saving time (because with me the appointments start then one hour late. So instead of 00:00-00:00 they are 01:00-01:00. And because the 01:00 end date is the next day, it is displayed for 2 days.

I’ll have to take a closer look, but as you say, only ‘some’ of my ‘all day’ events cross the day boundary.

I have an update on this issue, I believe you are correct @esackbauer , it’s appears to be a Daylight Savings issue calculation issue.

Where I’m located in Canada, our clocks go back 1 hour on November 3rd 2024.

In SOGo/Calendar WebUI:

I create a new “24 hour” (not an all day) event, after November 3rd:

• Nov 10th 23:00 (Start)
• Nov 11th 23:00 (Stop)

the event appears only in the Nov 11th calendar box on the SOGo WebUI.

I believe SOGo calendar is taking the ‘current date/time’ and adjusting it for DST if the event falls after the time change on November 3rd 2024 in my location.

This is just a guess, but it helps explain what’s happening.

I’m still searching for a good fix. 🙂

Further to this time zone issue…

I created an All Day Event / Yearly recurrence on the following dates:

Daylight Savings Ends November 3rd 2024
November 4 -> 30th | Entry spans two days on SOGo Calendar
December 1 -> … | Entry occupies only one block on the calendar, as it should.

Daylight Savings Begins March 9th 2025
Any “All Day” SOGo calendar entries created after December 1st 2024 (EST) and even past March 9th 2025 (EDT) occupy just one day block on the SOGo calendar.

EDT = Eastern Daylight (savings) Time
EST = Eastern Standard Time

From this test, it appears the SOGo Calendar believes that the local Daylight Savings Ends on November 30th 2024 in my timezone. This is wrong.

Currently for 27 days in November 2024, each “All Day” event will span 2 day blocks on the SOGo Calendar.

Not a show stopper, but if this site is indexed by search engines, hopefully someone else searching this issue, this may help them understand the issue.

Ist bei mir auch so. Der CRON-Job läuft außerhalb der Container im LXC .

Zugriffsrechte auf die Datei?
Das Script sollte im LXC in der Konsole ausführbar sein und ohne Fehler laufen. Ich habe von \ aus den absoluten Pfad getestet.
