500 when trying to accept invite in SOGo

Hello,

One of our users is experiencing a problem with SOGo. They’re trying to accept a meeting request originating from Google Meet. However, upon clicking the ‘Accept’ button. Nothing happens.

In the network tab, we see that the request SOGo does to the backend fails with a 500 error. I’m pretty sure it is something with this specific invite that is causing a problem, because we could not reproduce it with an invitation we sent ourselves.

I am unfortunately not able to share the ICS file or the e-mail, as it contains private information.

I am able to share the ICS and/or HAR file privately.

nullr0ute I would rather open an issue at the Sogo mailinglist, mailcow just uses Sogo but doesn’t support it directly

What you can do yourself is having a look at the Sogo logs, you can even set the log level at the Sogo config file to debug

Where can I find the SOGo logs? The normal docker compose logs do not seem to include much detail.

You can enable debugging in your sogo.conf

mailcow/mailcow-dockerizedblob/master/data/conf/sogo/sogo.conf#L87

You have to restart your Sogo container after editing this file
