Hi,

Is it possible that the update I did yesterday to version 2024-06a started to load the processor more?

I have Mailcow on a VPS (2 processors, 4GB of RAM). Until yesterday’s update, the processor load was very low, the RAM was almost entirely occupied, but everything worked stably.
Now my CPU load is 100% and everything freezes.

And? Did you have a look with top which process is responsible? You know that you are below the minimum memory config of 6 GB?
Did you disable SolR?

Have something to say?

6 days later

I got the same Problem after update to 2406a, the Server had 4 GB Ram. I can not see the CPU and HDD Usage and Status fo the Containers. And Solr is stopped:

Now i give the Server 8 GB Ram, add in mailcow.conf at the Bottom FLATCURVE_EXPERIMENTAL=y and restart Docker (like here in docs.mailcow.email Icon Full-Text Search - mailcow: dockerized documentation

) - but nothings happened.

Eccept this behavior everything else works fine for me.

How can i solve the problem?

Thnaks for your help and have a nice day 🙂.

Danke für deine Antwort. Soll ich mal Docker neustarten und dann alle logs sammeln und posten? Oder werden nur bestimmte benötigt?

Perfekt, this solve the problem - uncomment in resolv.conf and in /etc/netplan/00-installer-config.yaml the Search Part and restart the Server - now it works.

Only the solr-mailcow container is stopped, is this correct?

    If you activated Flatcurve, yes.

Uncomment it in the mailcow.conf and restart complete Server - it stayes disabled.

Is it possible to change complete to Flatcurve, with re-enable it in the mailcow.conf?

Did i have to confige something, or run it out-of-the-box?

And is it possible to clean up the system with “docker system prune -a” - so that the old Container is removed (from system and UI)?

Many thanks for your help 🙂.

Strange - enable Flatcurve, running docker compose down and docker compose up -d

In WebUI i see, thats the solr-mailcow container ist stopped, but on the Servershell is the Container started:

Regarding Solr, see my link above.
Dont do anything you do not fully understand, leave it like it is.
Sure you can do prune docker. If you have a backup.
