IMAP Issues

Hi,

On latest update and having an odd issue with IMAP connections.

Add a new account and the email client (Unibox/EMclient) downloads email from account without a problem, but from that point on is unable to update to see new mail. However Outlook works without an a problem.

Very odd!

Can’t see any obvious issue, clients simple report a timeout.

Activesync works fine
Outlook IMAP works fine.

Any ideas?

Have tried same from 2 different client machines on 2 different network connections, same result.

Cleared down the mail box and all back to normal, lost email though. :-(

I’m assuming this is the cause of the problem:

A vmail-index-vol-1 volume was created. The mail index will be recreated on the fly when accessing a mailbox. You can move this volume to fast disk and keep vmail-vol-1 on slower/spinning disks.

As it looks like the indexer wasn’t able to decrypt the mail content.

Was there a way round this?
Is it a bug with this new feature?

The keys were not touched at all. This is not a bug in mailcow. Perhaps you changed your compose yml and the update broke your own changes.

No alteration of Compose has been made at any point, totally vanilla.

Everything ran 100% until previous update, odd that Outlook was able to connect and download mail, but other IMAP clients were not.
