Hi all,

Hope you are well.

I am attepting to setup Mailcow behind Ngnix Proxy Manager - I did a dummy run without the proxy and the install was successful.

Following the install instructions, in the mailcow.conf file I have changed both the HTTP/HTTPS Ports & Binds to (HTTP) 8080/127.0.0.1 & (HTTPS) 8443/127.0.0.1.

After adding a new host into Ngnix Proxy Manager, regardless of attempting to use either HTTP or HTTPS, this simply returns:

502 Bad Gateway
openresty

I am probably just missing out a step, has anyone else managed to successfully install Mailcow behind Ngnix Proxy Manager and overcome this issue?

  • Located the issue, was within docker-compose.yml and the postfix-mailcow section.

Changed the ports section to the following and now working with Ngnix Proxy Manager 🙂
