I found a few articles kinda related to lookups failing but nothing too helpful for my issue.
This is a fresh install on a ubuntu 22 box on esx, pre req’s are good. everything’s running according to the admin UI. Webmail login works but cannot send mail, which I’m sure is related to rspamd lookups failing.
rspamd logs are filled with this:

I logged into the bash of unbound and ran a ping for a handful of the domains to which they do resolve. Unbound is setup as bellow for forward zone:
forward-zone:
name: "."
forward-addr: 10.10.10.1
10.10.10.1 is my internal DNS server which it can reach and does lookups through fine via bash directly through unbound. I’m extremely new to mailcow and not the most in depth with docker so not sure if I missed any steps in the config portion for this to work properly. Everything with the exception of these failed lookups seems fine so I think fixing this is obviously step 1 then trying to send/receive can be tested again.
Not sure if this is helpful but my ISP for the server is business line, not on any spam lists. Tired of paying for mail services for my domain so wanted to spin this up to run an on prem mail server since I only send a few emails a month and receive about the same. Unsure if this is helpful but using the “show pubic IP” button on the admin UI returns nothing, just 2 -'s.
