Android 14 and ActiveSync/Exchange

I am trying to setup one of my email accounts I have hosted on mailcow on my Pixel 6a running Android 14. When I go through the account setup I choose Exchange because I do not have any “ActiveSync” option like back in the day. I enter my email, click next, it asks for password, then goes to setup server. Nothing I put in the server or port seems to even hit my mail server. I can setup a IMAP/POP just fine though. Is this a limitation of Android 14?

On a side note, as long as I have DNS setup properly it should automatically grab the correct mail server and port right? For instance I have multiple domains but all point back to the mail mail server domain (ex: mail.maindomain.com instead of mail.secondarydomain.com).

test it with bluemail. Who knows what google broke on the Gmail app in Android 14.
and for automatic config you should have all TXT and SRV records for all domains pointing to mail.maindomain.com

esackbauer Downloading Bluemail now. As for DNS, yes each domain has all the TXT and SRV records that point to mail.maindomain.com. I just wanted to make sure that would automatically propagate what was needed. I have a few people with iDevices that will scream if they can’t auto-configure their stuff when I migrate them.

Got it figured out. I was able to finally get it working in Bluemail but then also normal google system wide app. The problem was partially my bitwarden hadn’t updated the password yet and also when asking for the mail server I was putting port 465 or 587 when it needed 443 for activesync.
