Good day,

In addition to the challenge with calendar synchronisation (mailcow community Icon Calendar not syncing on mobile device

), I noticed other problems today that seem to affect Active Sync in general.

I am using iOS 16.6 and the latest versions of Outlook and Spark. In the Outlook app, not all emails are displayed. The last 5 emails that were migrated to the mailbox are missing. However, new messages are displayed without any problems. Calendar synchronisation does not work at all. The calendar is simply missing from the overview.

In Spark I see the missing emails, which I don’t see in Outlook. However, the calendar is also missing here. Because I have different results in two different apps, something seems to be fundamentally wrong here.

I have other mail apps like Newton and Canary Mail etc… all of them cannot even be set up. Error message attached:

I don’t know what to do and would appreciate a bit of your support 😉

Regards
Schmandre

Have you tried Method 1.1?
docs.mailcow.email Icon Apple macOS / iOS - mailcow: dockerized documentation

That would rule out that there is a underlying issue with SOGo

Also you could try Bluemail, it works pretty well for some of my users.

Do you have a reverse proxy in front? That could also be a problem, if not setup properly.

esackbauer thank you for that hint

The step mentioned in 1.1 worked for me for the normal apple mail and calendar app.

Bluemail works also, but without calendar. But the missing Mails that wasn’t visible in outlook are now visible.

How can I search more detailed for the error? It’s a fresh installed instance of mailcow out of the box. Just created a mailbox and setup mail. No other proxy then the default mailcow proxy is installed.

    Thank you in advance.

    A small addition.

I found many log entries in sogo with the following information

This message appears more often, if I try to connect using EAS. Hope that may help

BlueMail returns that error, under “Active Sync” Log Tab

    No one is typing
