Hey everybody,
I want to use mailjet.com (Free-Account) as SMTP-Relay.

As SMTP-Credentials I use:
in-v3.mailjet.com:587
API KEY + API SECRET
(here: https://documentation.mailjet.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043229733-Why-am-I-getting-a-Relay-Access-Denied-error-when-using-SMTP-relay-

)

If I use these settings in thunderbird and configure an SMTP-Server the emails are send perfectly.
If I create a “Sender-dependent transports” and then assign this relay to a mailbox the mails are not send through. The test of the Relay is working fine but as soon as I send a mail it return this error.

example@example.com: SASL authentication failed; server
in.mailjet.com[104.199.96.85] said: 535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed:

The strange thing is that I do the same with sendinblue and this is just working fine.
Does anybody has some experience with mailjet?

Best regards
Christoph

Have same issue and solved. Use API KEY as username and generate secret key for password on mailcow
