Hi guys i have a few questions,
1) Currently was reading the manual guides
docs.mailcow.email Icon Autodiscover / Autoconfig - mailcow: dockerized documentation

saying that activesync should not be used with desktop client? are they saying should not be used on outlook?

2) When installing on outlook which i need to sync calendar and contacts i choose
active sync docs.mailcow.email Icon Microsoft Outlook - mailcow: dockerized documentation

but reading it says its not recommend? any ideas why? when testing out seems everything good

3) Whats the ratio to users for mailcow? ex: i have lets say 200 users which need active sync how stable is it? or how much ram and CPU would i need to give?

Thank you

As far as I know the issue is that SOGo provides an ActiveSync implementation, but they can’t guarantee that it is always 100% compatible as it is not the “official” one provided by Microsoft. So it can work now, but it could break when the protocol itself or Outlook gets an update.

Thank you so much for the reply, but lets say around 50 users using office 2021 for outlook how compatible were talking? been trying on one computer and seems to be working well

I have a Problem with it too on a Goggle Pixel 6 with the native Contact App. Contacts from Smartphone to the server are synced. New Contacts on the server will not be synced to the Smartphone
