SMTP does not work with default settings

I am new to Ubuntu and mail servers. I want to test mailcow. But it does not work sending emails via SMTP.
I tried to configure it twice.
First time according to the guide: https://docs.mailcow.email/
The second time with this one: https://www.bennetrichter.de/en/tutorials/mailcow-dockerized/

For that I created a new server on hetzner.cloud (Ubuntu 22.04). Before trying to configure it a second time, I rebuilt the server. The firewall is not enabled.

All settings remained the defaults. I have configured NDS for server24.com.ua. Letters from gmail box to server24 box come. And from server24 to gmail they come too. But I can’t connect with Tunderdird via SMTP. I tried both 587 and 465 ports.

Does anyone have any idea what it might be related to? The server should work fine with the default settings, right?

Wasdik mail.server24* and smtp.server24* were Thunderbird’s defaults when I added my mail account. Change those to server24* (or you can add DNS CNAME records pointing mail.server24* and smtp.server24* to server24*. [I assume you do not use split DNS between external and internal network queries.]

Thank you. Problem solved. The server is located on the Hetzner Cloud. And they have a blocked port 465. After changing the port to another, everything worked.
