I can receive emails but not send them and my vps ports are open.

Before they tell me that there is documentation for this error, I have already read it and in this case my vps responds to telnet on both ports, both port 465 and port 587, and it is not on the blacklist either, so I have tried everything from completely disabling the firewall to creating new rules for those specific ports to work, still nothing seems to work and I have not been able to send emails from my domain

I don’t know what could happen, it should be noted that the vps has two types of ip, both a public ip and a private ip, I don’t know if that affects anything

Hi,

have your tried digging in the logs ? What is in the postfix logs for example about the e-mails that are not send ?
Are the e-mail stuck in the queue ? ( check from within you mailcow-docerized directory : docker-compose exec postfix-mailcow postqueue -p )

I did what you told me and no, there is no mail stuck in queue, but from what I see in the prosfix logs I found that:

which shows that something does not let it reach in this case the google servers, even so the vps firewall ports are open.

Do you have an (outbound) firewall ?

Can you try from your server to telnet to some other smtp ? ( for example : telnet efa.mayk.org 25 , or telnet mail.linuxpowerhouse.nl 25 ).
Do you get a reply , active smtp session ?

There is, but nobody can receive your emails then. Every mailserver expects emails to be delivered to TCP/25. If you can’t send traffic/emails there, your emails won’t ever receive the target mailserver.

AT&T U-verse blocks outgoing port 25 (SMTP) for all accounts. If you have a business account (as opposed to the typical residential consumer account), you have to explicitly ask them to allow outgoing port 25.
