Mailbox users of a specific domain example.com can only add temporary aliases. My family uses the same generic domain example.com for stuff like non-important online accounts, newsletters and so on. To provide better security and privacy it’s nice to use a different alias for different accounts and services. Currently only a domain admin can add aliases to specific mailboxes. Is it possible to add a feature to mailcow so that mailbox users can add aliases to only their mailbox without being a domain admin?
Add alias as a mailbox user
I can look into that myself if I have time, but I am a Frontend Dev and don’t know the backend architecture of mailcow in detail, so I’ll probably need to invest more time for this than others.

I used different subdomains like a.example.com for user A and b.example.com for user B with a catch-all alias to the usual mailboxes. This might be more easy.
