Hello dear community,

I am running a dockerized mailcow instance on a VPS and mailpiler on another one with no internal networking between, everything is set up nicely and I send all ingoing and outgoing mails to archive@mydomain.mine through the mailcow BCC setting.

Sadly, I have no Idea how to forward the mails from mailcow to my piler instance, could you guys please help me out?
I suspect I gotta mess with the postfix config, but sadly I havent found a config entry that would let me forward to a host, not just an email adress.

I configured the api according to mailcow.github.io Icon Mailpiler Integration - mailcow: dockerized documentation

IMAP-Test through piler to my mailcow instance works.
My mailcow server could send smtp to my piler server, (smtp port is open for my mailcow instance) but like I said, I dont know how to get it to send them to a different host.

Greetings and best regards,
a total idiot.

  • Hello everyone,

I figured out that I am stupid and can just use the fqdn of my mailpiler instance as domain in the BCC options,
so I send it to archive@myArchive.mydomain.mine

Sorry for the stupid question, it seems really obvious in retrospect….
