I <love> Mailcow and all that it does. One feature I think would be really helpful would be the ability to create (optional) named Sync jobs instead of just using the ID. This would help with filtering on and/or running specific sync jobs based on the name (e.g. “Sync All” or “Sync Past Day” instead of “job X”).
Why would I ever run more than one sync job for an account? Well, there are times I want to do a <full> sync for all emails ever sent in all folders, then there are other times where I might only want to sync the past day of what was in the Sent and Inbox. Yes, I can change the query every time, but this gets a bit messy and cut-and-pastey. Filtering by name would be so much quicker – just find the job you want, then enable it. This is particularly useful for very large accounts, where you might run an initial (full) sync, followed by periodic (partial) syncs of emails for (say) the past 30 days. A use case could be for things like migrations or even syncing external mail (like Google).
Thank you DEVS,
