TropicLegend Hello Fellas, I set mailcow up this weekend and got the part of sending emails working. BUT: I can’t receive any emails although I set all the needed DNS records. I also can’t see the emails I should receive in Rspamd. But if I check in https://mxtoolbox.com, it tells me that everything is fine. It’s a really strange problem for me, as I’m still a beginner in the Email Server field. I would appreciate and be very thankful for any support.
TropicLegend Mailcow is running in Docker and I set it up accordingly to the tutorial provided on the official MailCow Website. I use custom ssl certificates, they work all fine.
heavygale Either the sending server must notify the sender about an error, or the mail is successfully received by your postfix - did you check the postfix logs?
TropicLegend yes, I can’t find anything about the mail. Could by any chance the reverse proxy, which has a different public IP than the mailserver, have something to do with this?
heavygale TropicLegend Could by any chance the reverse proxy, which has a different public IP than the mailserver, have something to do with this? If it doesn’t proxy mail traffic too - yes sure. ^^
TropicLegend I fixed it by pointing the records directly onto the mail server instead of a reverse proxy.
