Hi all,

Is it possible to create a shared callendar on a android phone with mailcow. When i create and share a calendar on SOGo
and give user read permissions in Sogo its working. However in my android phone i dont see the shared calendar.

Also not vissible in the calendars tab in the user account….

maybe i am missing something?

And a second question… is it possible to sync notities? With z-push this is possible and i was asking myself if this is also available with mailcow?

kind regards,

Chris

I’m currently working on the same issue, but in the meantime I don’t think the client can’t see shared calendars. The only possibility was to enter the account separately here.

Of course, this is only possible if the user has full rights.

    Have something to say?

To see shared calendars without any additional configuration you need to use ActiveSync.
Also it could be dependent on your client app. I can see them with Nine.
Otherwise you need to use CalDAV link presented in SOGo, and configure this with something like play.google.com Icon DAVx5

. (Its free of charge on F-Droid)

esackbauer I can see them with Nine.

I used Nine until a year ago. Now the successor Re:Work. I don’t see the shared ones there. That’s strange. Yes with DAVx5 this is working fine.
I just got used to Re:Work, it’s much nicer than my standard mail app with imap.
I’m going to install Nine again, I’m curious if it works with it or if there’s something wrong with the server.

Just tested with Nine. I can only use my own calendars, contacts… synchronise. But in Sogo it is shared well.
What am I doing wrong? Am I still missing an option?
All options were selected when sharing.

      What information do you need?

      Thank you very much… 🙂

Before you do that, check if you have enabled “Synchronize via ActiveSync” in the settings of the shared calendar in SOGo.

Is that screenshot from your mail account, or from the mail account of the owner of the shared folder?

From the mail account of the owner of the shared folder.

That is then the setting only for him…
You need to do it in your account.

OMG, it work perfectly over Nine and Re:Work 😀 😍 how could I have missed that, shame on me 🙈.
Very Thanks @esackbauer for your help. You have saved my day 🤗 .
