Hi,

i am having trouble sending emails to a german provider “freenet”. Error mail says:
TARGET_eMail@freenet.de: host emig.freenet.de[2001:748:100:40::8:118] said:
550-Inconsistent/Missing DNS PTR record (RFC 1912 2.1) (MAIL_FQDN)
550 [correct IPV6]:45216 (in reply to RCPT TO command)
However: nslookup IPv4 and v6 are pointing to correct FQDN hostname.domain.
Anyone with an idea to solve this ?

and yes: IPv4 and IPv6 results are consistent and equal on every reply.

….now I’m working through the RFC definition , but this is quite raw …..
