Nginx config file for reverse proxy; SSL not working

Hello guys,
I am following this guide: https://mailcow.github.io/mailcow-dockerized-docs/firststeps-rp/

I don’t want Mailcow UI blocking my port 80 and 443 and thus moved them to 8080 and 8443 respectively. All good, I can connect as well but not with HTTPS. In step 2 the guide above mentions nginx config files. I cannot find those. Not in data/conf/nginx, nowhere else. When running. /generate-config.sh it tells me that the config is in plae already.

Can someone tell me where I need to make the adjustments so that I get valid SSL certificates? 🙂

It’s about the config files of the webserver running with 80/433 (which is not a mailcow component) 😉

For SSL you’ll either need to proxy 80/443 to mailcow (so that it can create it’s on certificates) or generate them yourself and give them to mailcow https://mailcow.github.io/mailcow-dockerized-docs/firststeps-ssl/#how-to-use-your-own-certificate
